  • Industrial Society and Its Future by Theodore Kaczynski: This is a highly controversial essay as the author was convicted of horrible crimes. Some of the content in the essay is even racist in nature. However, there are serveral concepts and points made by the author that I believe hold value and are relevant to our modern current challenges.
  • The Cathedral and the Bazaar: Raymond contrasts two software-development styles: the closed, centrally planned “cathedral” model vs. the open, distributed “bazaar” model—arguing the bazaar usually produces better, faster results.
